The 21st annual Culturefest World Music & Arts Festival will take place September 5-8, 2024 at The Appalachian South Folklife Center in Pipestem, WV.

Camping, Accommodations & lodging

Primitive on-site camping is FREE with a full weekend pass. (Note, there are no bathhouses/showers available on site.) One night camping passes are available on the tickets page. 

The site can only accommodate small RVS and there is NO HOOKUP. Bigger RVs will not make it into the venue entrance. However, full RV camping is available at Pipestem State Park, about a mile & 1/2 from the venue, an excellent bike trip. OTHER ACCOMODATIONS that are available in the area are major hotel chains, a slew of fine bed & breakfasts, cabins, Airbnbs, and more. In addition, Pipestem State Park, right next to the festival site, has beautiful lodges and cottages. Bluestone State Park, less than a 20 minute drive from the festival site, also has cabins available.

**Although it is typically nice weather this time of year there is always a chance of low temperatures. Please come prepared with extra blankets and heavy sweaters.**

**IN CASE OF RAIN: The show will go on, rain or shine.  There is a Furniture Lounge underneath a large central tent, so no matter what the weather, the music and fun will play on. The tent area and indoor chapel stage will be poppin' with music even if it is pouring.


Kids 5 & under are Free. LaLa Land, the designated Children's area, has a variety of activities throughout the days; find a schedule in the program and on-site. Kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

There is no alcohol sold on the premises. Guests may bring their own legal beverages, but there are NO OPEN CONTAINERS allowed on site beyond one's own personal camp site. You may carry a cup with you, but no beer cans or other open container beverages are permitted around the festival site. If you are behaving disrespectfully or irresponsibility, we reserve the right to escort you off the premises with no questions asked.
